We build installations for rooms with the lights off. Sixty to three hundred watts of controlled colour, suspended, and nothing else in the room at all. Six pieces exist. Four of them travel.

A cycle that takes nine minutes to open and forty seconds to collapse. Runs continuously; there is no pause between cycles.
Built for a corridor. Reads as a solid volume of colour from the end of it, and as nothing at all once you are standing inside.
Runs hot enough to feel from a metre away. The only piece with a fence, and the only one that needs a fire watch.
One source, two prisms, and a gap. Separates a white beam into its own edges and holds them apart across three metres.
In the stairwell at 18th and Wyandotte. Free to look at, always on, never announced. Eleven metres from the landing to the roof light.
A commission starts with the room, not with a concept. We measure it, black it out, and put a test source in before anybody draws anything. If the room cannot go dark, we will say so and there is no charge for that visit.
Photographs of a light piece are worth very little. What we send instead is a date to come and stand in one.

Four pieces travel. They need a dark room, the rigging point above, and us: they do not ship on their own and we do not sell rigging instructions. Two week minimum, and we will not install into a space we have not seen photographs of.
Email about hiring a piece1904 Wyandotte, basement level. Open Thursdays from dusk until about ten, which in December means from five and in June means from nine. Knock; the bell does not work and we are usually in the dark room at the back.
